Tuesday, August 7th
The group, designed for middle school and high school age young adults, meets monthly to plan local activities for teens of the community. These programs vary each month and include art, game night, book club, movie night and coffeehouses. The group also volunteers at the library, lending their support to the library's young children's programs. If you are interested in volunteering, or just spending time with friends join US.
Grades 6-12 Refreshments will be served.
These substance-free events are alternative activities to promote healthy lifestyle choices. They are sponsored by the Municipal Alliance of the Mendhams, a part of the Governor's Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse.
Teens can join the Summer Reading fun too. Pick up a Teen Bingo Card in the teen section of the library, fill out a row and enter the raffle to win great prizes which include movie tickets, a candy basket and gift cards.
